The need to be involved was so hammered into us at the 'cult' church we were stuck in for a huge chunk of our lives (like you Meg, for 20 years).

So I appreciate the encouragement in my art, Tanya :-) and for the reminder we have fellowship right here on the internet Meg! I love that!NoJokehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13689804617836257708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3169731035319485318.post-45182903141058744322010-08-22T19:45:23.050-06:002010-08-22T19:45:23.050-06:00I think you have to remember that the church is th...I think you have to remember that the church is the people. In the book of Acts and even in Romans, the believers did not meet in a temple or building. They met in the middle of a field or homes. I do not really believe that you really have to meet in a building. Our family had been doing home church for a year and then breaking bread after wards. But something stirred in us to go back and really let God direct us to a church. We really do not plan on putting lots of work into the church. God has us on a different trek. If you truly believe that your art is your mission, then stay with it, God will use it to bring glory to His kingdom. But remember, gathering together does not mean it has to be in a church building. You are the church.
